Bristol Light Festival

The Bristol Light Festival is one of the city's newest but most beloved traditions, designed to chase away the winter blues with a massive, city-wide gallery of light, sound, and technology.

Locations: Across the City Centre, including Cabot Circus, Redcliffe, and Park Street.

For ten nights, Bristol transforms into a glowing playground. This isn't just a "walk-and-look" event; it’s highly interactive. You might find yourself swinging on LED-lit swings that create music as you move or whispering into microphones to make "Jellymonsters" dance.

It’s a favourite for locals because it turns familiar, everyday corners of the city—like car parks or historic caves—into surreal, artistic experiences.
