Moored at M Shed on Bristol's vibrant Harbourside, The Matthew is a stunning, full-size replica of the historic caravel sailed by John Cabot when he discovered Newfoundland in 1497.
Built to commemorate the 500th anniversary of that famous voyage, the ship offers a fascinating glimpse into Tudor maritime history.
Visitors are welcome to step aboard for free when the ship is moored, explore the wooden decks, and chat with the knowledgeable volunteer crew about life on the high seas in the 15th century.
