Oldbury Court Estate

This sprawling and diverse estate offers a perfect blend of historic parkland, ancient woodland, and scenic riverside trails along the River Frome.

Once the site of a grand manor house, the park now serves as a major recreational hub, featuring one of the largest and most popular children’s play areas in the city.

Visitors can follow well-maintained paths through the formal landscaped gardens or head into the woods for a more rugged experience on the Frome Valley Walkway.

The estate is particularly famous for its spectacular rock cuttings and the "Castle" bridge, providing plenty of interesting landmarks to discover.

With its wide-open spaces for picnics and sports, it is a favourite weekend destination for families and dog walkers alike.
