Situated at the top of Park Street in a magnificent Edwardian Baroque building, the Bristol Museum & Art Gallery offers an incredible, free journey through a billion years of art, culture, and natural history.
The museum boasts 19 sprawling galleries across three floors, exhibiting outstanding collections of art, archaeology, Egyptology, geology, and natural history.
Visitors can marvel at the beautifully preserved skeleton of a pliosaur, examine rare dinosaur fossils, and explore the fascinating lives of ancient Egyptians with real mummies and artifacts. The art galleries feature a superb collection of European Old Masters, British paintings, and contemporary pieces, along with stunning Eastern ceramics and glasswork.
