Banksy - Well Hung Lover
Iconic mural on Frogmore Street
"Well Hung Lover" is one of Banksy’s most provocative and iconic murals, famously located on the side of a building on Frogmore Street.
Created in 2006, the piece depicts a naked man hanging from a window sill while a jealous husband looks out for his wife's lover.
It was the first legal street art in the UK after a public vote, and it remains a centrepiece of the city’s street art scene.
The mural is best viewed from the bridge on Park Street, offering a perfect vantage point for photos.
Despite some graffiti tags over the years, it stands as a testament to Banksy’s dark humour and his roots in Bristol’s rebellious underground art culture.
