Somer Dining on Trajectus Way — Contemporary British · 4.4/5 (19 reviews)

Tucked within the stylish Chocolate Quarter development in Keynsham, Somer Dining offers a refined yet welcoming dining experience just minutes from Bristol and Bath. Set on the historic Somerdale Factory site – once home to Fry's and later Cadbury – the restaurant blends culinary creativity with a rich local story.

Located at the heart of The Chocolate Quarter retirement village, Somer Dining has become a genuine community hub. The restaurant’s concept was developed with input from acclaimed local chef Josh Eggleton, known for The Pony & Trap, alongside St Monica Trust’s Food Development Manager Adrian Kirikmaa. The result is a fine-dining restaurant focused on seasonal, locally sourced produce and thoughtfully crafted menus.

Expect elegant, modern dishes that champion the best of the West Country. Ingredients are carefully selected from nearby producers, ensuring freshness and flavour in every course. The fully stocked bar features a strong line-up of wines, craft beers, ciders and a growing gin selection – perfect for a relaxed lunch or special occasion.

Coffee lovers are equally well catered for, with premium beans from Bristol-based Wogan Coffee, hand-crafted into expertly made drinks. You can even take a bag home to recreate the experience.

For visitors seeking quality dining with a story, Somer Dining offers heritage, hospitality and high-end flavour in equal measure.
