The Fleece
Established independent music venue in a former sheep market offering live music & club nights.
Housed in the historic, Grade II listed Wool Hall building from 1830, The Fleece was originally a sheep trading market, which inspired its name. Since opening as a music venue in 1982, it has earned a legendary status by hosting iconic acts early in their careers, including Radiohead, Oasis, Muse, and Amy Winehouse. Today, it operates as Bristol's largest independent live music venue, offering a 450-capacity space with live music seven nights a week following a major redesign in 2021.
